2. Data processing on this website at a glance
This website is a purely static information site. We use no cookies, no analytics or tracking tools and no advertising networks. Personal data is processed only to the technically necessary extent described below. A separate privacy policy applies to our Time Tracker app.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by [hosting provider, e.g. “Vercel Inc.” or “netcup GmbH”]. When the website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- page or file accessed
- browser type and version
- operating system used
- referrer URL (previously visited page)
Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable and efficient provision of this website. The log files are deleted after [retention period, e.g. “30 days”]. [A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the hosting provider – verify before going live.] [For providers processing data in third countries, e.g. the USA: the transfer takes place on the basis of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR; the provider is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses are in place – adjust or remove.]
4. Contacting us by email
If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide (email address, content of the message and, where applicable, your name) solely to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). We delete this data as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Deleting your app account
Users of the Time Tracker app can delete their account and the associated data at any time. The Delete account page explains how.

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address bar starting with “https://”.

8. Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
Insofar as we process personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest), you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to such processing. We will then no longer process the data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
